Daniel Martin Artist

Hailing from Scotland, Daniel’s work is inspired by the ethereal magic of his homeland. He creates dramatic skyscapes which often reflect the inner turmoil of his thoughts. Daniel says, “painting is my meditation, my therapy, and is something that keeps me sane in a somewhat insane world. I love that art lives on once we’re gone, and will see a world we’ll never know – there’s a romance to that”.

Using oils, he captures the beauty and complexity of the natural environment, resulting in works of art that both challenge and captivate. Daniel’s preferred painting surface is wood, and he often sources unwanted panels in order to give them a new lease of life.
