Fiona Longley Artist

Fiona Longley is a Scottish classical realist Still Life and Plein Air artist.

Fiona studied for 3 years learning the academic method at Glasgow Academy of Fine Art, graduating in 2022. Prior to this she was privately taught by Sarah Margaret Gibson in her studio in Largs.

In her work Fiona captures the essence and nature of a subject using natural light and working from life. She is particularly influenced by 16th century classical art and tries to apply their style in her artwork.

She has previously shown artwork in The Oxo Tower London; a solo exhibition in conjunction with Cass Art, Glasgow and she recently appeared as wildcard on Sky Arts, Landscape Artist of the year.
