Description
Julie Brunn
Having qualified with a fine art degree from Birmingham in 2000 , Julie then went on to pursue a career in web based graphic design. However a love and interest in animals had a strong hold and she changed her career completely to become an animal keeper, starting at Longleat Safari Park and then eventually settling at Monkey World. Starting a family gave her the opportunity to rediscover painting, combining her love of nature, animals and art.
Julie says: “My study of animals over the years has developed a skill in depicting their character and personality. Although a large proportion of my work is commission based I also like to paint wildlife. The experience I have from working with exotic animals has allowed me to understand the nature and character of the subjects that I paint. Enabling me to create a natural and atmospheric image.”
