Jane Blair

Jane studied Costume Design at Edinburgh College of Art. She had a career in Theatre and T.V. before taking up painting full time.

Working mainly in oils, Jane’s practice is a response to her surroundings. A reaction to those perfect fleeting moments of synergy when light ,weather or even movement of beasts in the landscape creates something remarkable from the everyday.

She works from her studio in Southern Scotland.
