Born in 1974 in the south of England, Amber first attended art school when she was 20 years old. She started a fine arts degree at Falmouth school of arts, changing to and completing her degree in illustration at Bristol UWE.

Amber then went on to work as a scenic artist in the film industry after completing a further Masters degree in Tv Production design.

Amber says: “I have been fortunate to work on many film and tv productions including the recent tv series Lockerbie filmed here in Scotland. In 2002 I moved from Berkshire to Glasgow to be with my husband. However in 2009 we spent 5 years with our 4 children in Australia. Many hours were spent by the poolside. This is where my fascination with water and with swimmers first developed.”
